Lobos to Have 19 Games Nationally Televised This Season

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West Conference announced Thursday the national television schedule for the conference’s men’s basketball games this season. New Mexico will have all 18 of its conference games broadcast nationally on FS1 or CBS Sports Network, in addition to one non-conference game. It marks the first time in 10 years that every one of the Lobos’ conference games will be available on national television.

The Lobos will have 10 games broadcast this season on FS1: Iona (Dec. 18), at Wyoming (Dec. 31), San Jose State (Jan. 17), Boise State (Jan. 20), at Utah State (Feb. 1), Nevada (Feb. 7), at Air Force (Feb. 10), at Boise State (Feb 22), Fresno State (Feb. 28) and at Colorado State (Mar 3).

UNM will appear on CBS Sports Network nine times this season: Colorado State (Dec. 28), at Fresno State (Jan. 3), UNLV (Jan. 7), at San Diego State (Jan. 14), at Nevada (Jan. 23), at Air Force (Jan. 27), Wyoming (Feb. 14), at San Jose State (Feb. 17), and San Diego State (Feb. 25).

Due to television selections, eight of New Mexico’s games changed dates from the original schedule, including two home games. The home game vs. Boise State is now Jan. 20 (originally Jan. 21) and the home game against Air Force is now Jan. 27 (originally Jan. 28). The road games that changed dates are the game at Nevada is now Jan. 23 (originally Jan. 24), the game at Utah State is now Feb. 1 (originally Jan. 31), the game at Air Force is now Feb. 10 (originally Feb. 11), the game at San Jose State is now Feb. 17 (originally Feb. 18), the game at Boise State is now Feb. 22 (originally Feb. 21) and the game at Colorado State is now Mar. 3 (originally Mar 4).

The nine home non-conference games that were not selected for national television will be broadcast online on the Mountain West Network.
