Talk about a recast shocker! In today’s Friday, October 28, episode of General Hospital, it was revealed that The Bold and the Beautiful vet Alley Mills (Pam) is now playing the role of Heather Webber, previously played by Robin Mattson. For those who didn’t watch, Heather was brought to the hospital cuffed, in an orange jumpsuit, and got quite the reaction out of Olivia, who screamed at the sight of her. The last time we saw Heather was in October 2016, when Franco paid her a visit the asylum to discuss the attacks on Bobbie and Lucas.

The casting news was first reported earlier this month by Soap Opera Digest and we debated whether or not she’d be connected to the drama involving Elizabeth or… maybe Austin and Mason since their mystery boss was female. However, now that we know Mills will be gracing our screens as Heather, it’s no secret that this role will be very different from her Bold & Beautiful persona…

Mills created the role of Pam Douglas back in 2006 and in 2019, it was announced that the actress had gone to recurring status. She was last seen on the CBS soap in July 2022. Pam had been involved in her fair share of storylines surrounding her sister Stephanie’s family, the Forresters. In later years, Pam often found herself in comical scenes involving her famous lemon bars but fans will never forget when she doused Donna Logan with honey then sicced a bear on her — all because Pam wanted to rid Donna from Eric’s life so he would go back to her sister.

Based on that scene alone, Mills does have what it takes to play crazy oh-so well, so she should do just fine in her new ABC role and we can’t wait to see what the actress has in store for General Hospital!

While we wait to see who Mills’ character will mix and mingle with in Port Charles, get caught up to speed on everyone who has recently arrived or will be coming to town in our photo packed General Hospital roll-out-the-welcome-mat gallery.
