Three placed in special probation program

Three first-time offenders were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program on Tuesday on criminal charges.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program, their record will be wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it, or are revoked from it, then they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.

President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II placed the following:

Christopher A. Person Sr., 51, of Walnutport, was placed for a year on a driving under the influence of a controlled substance charge. He was arrested on July 23, 2020, by state police at Lehighton.

He was assessed $600 for the cost of the program and his license suspended for 60 days.

Daniello Rosfelder, 21, of Walnutpot, was placed for a year on a charge of theft conspiracy filed by state police at Lehighton for an incident on March 19.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment.

Kimberly Andrews, 41, of Walnutport, was placed for six months on a charge of theft by deception. She was arrested on April 18, 2021, by Mahoning Township police.

She was assessed $450 and ordered to make restitution to Walmart for $47.47.

Each defendant must also pay court costs of more than $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program.
