Every era of NBA basketball is defined by a dynasty. Without fail, a team emerges as the team to beat until their players are too old to win anymore.
The Boston Celtics were the original dynasty. The Los Angeles Lakers took the mantle from them. Still, perhaps the best-known NBA dynasty is the Chicago Bulls of the 1990s.
Throughout the entire decade, the Bulls were an unstoppable force. Realistically, they were unbeatable unless Michael Jordan decided it was time to “retire”. Unfortunately for fans of the organization, they’ve had trouble replicating that success since Jordan’s final retirement (from the Bulls, that is).
In the meantime, the Golden State Warriors have taken their place. In fact, they’ve been the defining dynasty of the modern NBA.

Last year, they added another NBA championship to their total. With that said, they’ll face stiff competition to repeat that performance in 2022-23.
