A charge of hit-and-run resulting in death of 26-year-old Kentrey Levar White-Long on Sept. 17 on Church Street near June Lane has been dismissed against 19-year-old Zae'Kwon Washington, according to public court records.
The charge was dismissed last week.
However, court records show Zae'Kwon Washington is still charged with criminal conspiracy and accessory after the fact of a felon in connection with the hit-and-run. He has also been released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
Police allege that Quandelin Washington conspired with her son Zae’Kwon Washington and Devin Rashad Burgess to throw off the investigation by Zae’Kwon Washington receiving money to falsely take responsibility for the collision.
investigators have obtained arrest warrants against Burgess for hit and run resulting in death, failure to render aid and driving under suspension for DUI 1st offense. These charges are in addition to the outstanding warrants criminal conspiracy, accessory after the fact to a Class B felony, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and felon in possession of ammunition on file Burgess.
Zae'Kwon Washington turned himself in last Monday for the hit and run.

Investigators believe White-Long was struck on Church Street after the initial single-car collision and dragged or carried to the Ingram Street area, which is nearly three miles away.
Quandelin Washington was released from custody on Sept. 28 on a $100,000 surety bond.
