Paris, Tenn.–Remember, today is the day for the annual Community Cookout sponsored by the Paris BPU in downtown Paris.
BPU invites everyone to enjoy free hot dogs, chips and cookies from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the alley and parking lot areas beside the main office.
Paris BPU equipment will be on display during the Community Cookout.
BPU has been holding activities all week for Public Power Week.
The remainder of the activities are:
Friday is National LED Day and they are celebrating by giving away LED light bulbs to the first 100 people.
BINGO, where customers with a BINGO off the card will be entered to win $75 bill credit. Saturday is the last day to turn in BINGO cards via Facebook and they will draw five winners Monday.
In partnership with Commercial Bank and Trust, they are hosting a Community Canned Food Drive. The donation bin is located on Wood St. and Paris BPU and Commercial Bank & Trust will match the amount of canned food and non-perishables donated.
