A man is dead in Harris County where he was killed in a construction jobsite accident caused by his own grandfather.
Harris County Constable Mark Herman reports it happened Wednesday at a warehouse in the Houston suburb of Spring.
The grandfather was operating a boring machine and put the bit down into a hole -- unaware anyone was in the hole.
But someone was -- his own 22-year-old grandson who was killed instantly.
Herman said the grandfather and grandson were working together as independent contractors.
