A Crofton, Md. man put in hours of work to turn the front yard of his Anne Arundel County home into a Halloween attraction.
David Smith tells 7News that every year, for the last three years, he has chosen a different theme for his annual display. Two years ago, it was inspired by "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and last year it was inspired by "Star Wars Episode 6 on the Endor Moon."
This year, Smith chose to put on a display with the theme of a "battle of cinematic universes."
"I decided to repurpose some of my decorations but make it new. So I, with my father, created this theme," he said. "I thought it would be funny to see superheroes from different cinematic universes battling each other."
He has amazing displays of Batman fighting Chewbacca, a Star Trek redshirt in a firefight with a stormtrooper, and even Thanos snapping and Han Solo disappearing.
"I love doing this and the kids love it," he says.
Last year, Smith said several families rode together from Elliott City on Halloween night to see his decorations and "take a bunch of selfies with them."
