MCFARLAND, Wis. — Firefighters from numerous Dane County agencies responded to a fire at a restaurant in McFarland Wednesday evening.
The fire at the Maple Tree Supper Club at the corner of U.S. Highway 51 and Burma Road broke out around 5:20 p.m., a Dane County dispatcher said. The dispatcher had no reports of injuries from the fire.
As of 7:30 p.m., several crews remained at the scene.
The fire reached the second alarm level; a News 3 Now crew saw firefighters from McFarland, Stoughton, Madison, Cottage Grove, Oregon, Middleton and Sun Prairie at the scene.
Deputies from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Salvation Army also responded.
As of 8:35 p.m., all lanes of Highway 51 had reopened, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
