Eagles QB Jalen Hurts chastises Philly media for failing to ask questions about Week 5 opponent

The Philadelphia Eagles are off to a fantastic start to the 2022 NFL season, entering Week 5 as the league's only remaining undefeated team at 4-0.

Currently the media darling of the NFL world, the spotlight shined a little too brightly on the team for quarterback Jalen Hurts' liking on Wednesday.

After speaking with the Philadelphia media for roughly 10 minutes on Wednesday, mostly answering questions about appearing on ESPN's "Manning Cast," Hurts chastised the reporters on hand for failing to ask a single question about the Eagles' opponent this Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals.

"I will say this too. I didn't get any questions about the Cardinals, for real," Hurts said. "This is a really good team we're about to play. They have a really good defense. Disruptive up front. Speed at the backend. So, let's not set that precedent for that. This is a good football team."

The third-year pro has carried himself with humble confidence this season, so it's no surprise he'd show the ultimate respect for an opponent, even if the media failed to do so.

The 24-year-old has been impressive under center for the Eagles. He's thrown four touchdowns and two interceptions through four weeks, boasting the NFL's eighth-best completion percentage (66.7).

Hurts has also proved to be dangerous outside the pocket, posting 205 rushing yards and four touchdowns off 53 attempts.
