WATCH: Woman assaulted and robbed by group of six in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is still searching for two women and one man after a late-night assault and robbery in March.

Officer Becky Keller said the victim was at the Fat Toad near 14th and O Streets when she befriended a group of girls, who then pushed her into their car while she was waiting for her Uber ride.

After about half an hour of driving, they pulled over near Ninth and New Hampshire Streets and let the victim out.

They started kicking her and hitting her and stole her debit card, cash and cellphone. And they filmed the whole thing.

The assault ended when a good Samaritan heard the commotion and ran to the victim’s rescue.

Three women have already been arrested, but LPD is still searching for the woman in the animal-print dress, a woman not captured on camera and the man recording the assault.

The woman is OK now, but LPD wants to tie up the loose ends of this case.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
