University of New Haven evacuates building over social media threat

WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) - A building at the University of New Haven was evacuated Wednesday after a threat was sent on social media.
A bomb threat was sent by social media for Harugari Hall, according to the university.
School officials said the building was evacuated and searched.
The University of New Haven Police Department told the school that a search of Harugari Hall has been completed, with nothing of a suspicious nature found.
Harugari Hall will reopen Thursday morning at its regularly scheduled time.
“This is an active investigation being led by the West Haven Police,” the school said.
