CLARKSVILLE, TN – Talisha Huddleston of Clarksville was recently awarded the Ms. Southeast America 2022 title by the Ms. America Pageant.

The mission of the pageant is to celebrate the accomplishments of women, encourage them to be involved in community service, as well as use the “Crown for a Purpose” to make difference.

The pageant is open to women 26 years of age and up who are single, divorced or married. The selection process for receiving a title was done by submitting an application, photo and followed up by an interview over the phone. 32 finalists from across the United States will compete in Interview, Sportswear, Evening Gown and On-Stage Interview.

“Talisha Huddleston really left a positive impression on our judges, and we are thrilled to have her representing Tennessee at the 2022 Ms. America Pageant finals this October,” said Susan Jeske Irvine, pageant CEO.

Talisha is a cosmetologist of 15 years, who desires to share her gift with the world. It’s called “the inspiration of a good haircut.” In Clarksville, she has started with the military community of Fort Campbell. She desires to give soldiers haircuts that they can feel good about and feel proud to wear, while they are in or outside of uniform. The focus of her mission is to keep them having their own sense of identity. Talisha has expressed that she would love to work worldwide with soldiers everywhere. She believes that the Ms. America Platform can help her do that.
