The boat that was stranded on the Hudson River in Washington County since early September is finally out of there.

As we reported, the boat was stuck on a rock ledge when an out-of-state pilot unfamiliar with the area made a wrong turn.

It took almost a month for the operator, his insurance company, and a boat towing company to work out the logistics of freeing the boat. They finally towed it out Tuesday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office tells us there were no leaks, but the boat had some prop and rudder damage.
