CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There were three serious traffic incidents in Clarksville at about the same time Wednesday afternoon. Here are updates on all three.

Pedestrian hit on Wilma

Update, 4:45 p.m.: The roadway is back open, and traffic is back to normal.

Previously:

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard near Exit 4 in front of McDonald’s at about 3:17 p.m.

The victim was being flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Nashville, and the status of their injuries was unknown at this time, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien.

The pedestrian was hit by a truck hauling pumpkins, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media, and pumpkins were strewn over the road.

There is only one northbound lane of Wilma open, which is causing traffic congestion.

Tiny Town Road fatality

Update, 6:55 p.m.: Traffic has returned to normal. The name of the person killed has not been released.

Update, 6:30 p.m.: The roadway is back open, according to police. Westbound traffic is still backed up well past Barker’s Mill.

Update, 6:15 p.m.: Tiny Town Road is closed. Westbound traffic is backed up almost to Sandpiper Drive.

Update, 4:23 p.m.: Eastbound traffic is backed up almost to Tobacco Road. Westbound is well past Barker’s Mill Road.

Previously: 

One person was killed in a 3:32 p.m. wreck on Tiny Town Road, according to Beaubien.

“There are other injuries, but their status is unknown at this time,” Beaubien said.

Drivers reported seeing uniformed Fort Campbell soldiers at the scene assisting the victims before emergency responders arrived.

All westbound lanes of Tiny Town were shut down, and traffic was being diverted onto Tara.

Traffic on Tiny Town was backed up in both directions. Eastbound was backed up past Allen Road. Westbound was backed up past Needmore Road.

Dump truck stalls on 41A

Update, 4:15 p.m.: The roadway is back open and traffic has returned to normal.

Previously: 

A dump truck has stalled in the middle of Fort Campbell Boulevard, causing the northbound lanes to be shut down.

At about 3:35 p.m., Clarksville Police were responding to the situation on the highway at Lady Marion Drive, according to spokesman Scott Beaubien.

The northbound lanes of US Highway 41A were closed, and traffic was being diverted onto Lady Marion. Traffic was backed up almost to Ringgold Road.
