PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The injury news was grim for the Steelers as seven defensive players were limited or missed practice Wednesday, six of those are starters. The Steelers already two touchdown underdogs at Buffalo Sunday.

Beginning with those who did not practice-corner Ahkello Witherspoon, who Mike Tomlin already ruled out for Sunday.  And both starting safeties-Terrell Edmunds, who suffered a concussion late in the game against the Jets and Minkah Fitzpatrick, who had a late-game knee injury.  Neither were able to go for the first of three practices this week.

Limited on Wednesday-starter corner Cam Sutton (hamstring and groin injuries), starter corner Levi Wallace (foot).  There were also limited participants along the defensive line-Cam Heyward (ankle and elbow) and Chris Wormley (ankle).

To sum it up, the Steelers entire starting secondary were limited or did not practice, the defensive captain, a key reserve and the team is still without TJ Watt this week.
