Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Volleyball team traveled to Spirit Lake for Lakes Conference action Tuesday night. Through all three sets, Spencer showed their potential at several spots, but Spirit Lake proved to be strong defensively. The Tigers were unable to get many attacks to go, and a lot of Tiger points were scored on Spirit Lake mistakes. Spencer’s Jerra Merchant pointed out a few of Spencer’s struggles in the match.

The Tigers would fall in 3 sets, 25-11, 25-10, and 25-12. Ella Heisinger felt the team could’ve played better.

Jada Piercy also felt the energy wasn’t there for the Tigers Tuesday night.

The Tigers are now 7-21 overall and 1-3 in the Lakes Conference. Although it was a tough night for her team, Coach Hauschen is looking forward to the season’s home stretch.
