We do not have a Goodwill location in Sedalia or Warrensburg.  There are locations in Columbia, Jefferson City, Blue Springs, Lee's Summit, and Kansas City.  We do have a Salvation Army location as well as the Open Door Thrift Shop where you can go to donate items, and perhaps pick up items on the cheap.  Well, if you have ever gone into one of these places, and never seem to find what you were hoping for, now you can save your gas.

Goodwill Industries International has just launched a new website for online shopping.  Just in time for the holidays.  The website is GoodwillFinds.com and you can access it HERE.  If you are looking for a cheap Halloween costume, some small items for your home, clothes, electronics, books, media, toys, and collectables, now you can do it from the comfort of your own home.

Now in regards to costs, it looks like there will be over 100,000 items that you can view and perhaps purchase, but most of the items will be at least $5 or more.  Shipping will be an additional charge.

If you were not familiar with the mission of Goodwill,  Goodwill works to enhance people’s quality of life by strengthening their communities, eliminating their barriers to opportunity, and helping them reach their full potential through learning and the power of work. My mother worked for them a few hours a week just before the pandemic to allow her to make a little extra money and get out of the house.  I have donated some items to them in the past, and found a few hidden gems there too.

You can check out their Facebook page HERE.  Would you like to see a Goodwill location in Sedalia or Warrensburg? Would you shop there if we had one? Share your thoughts.
