Twitter allows users to add text image descriptions to the photos they share on the social networking platform. These alt text descriptions may be useful for users who use screen readers and others.

Our guide will show you how to add alt text to an image while using Twitter’s website.

Step 1: Once you’ve added an image to your tweet on Twitter’s website, click “Add description” under the image.
