The first trailer for Black Panther star Letitia Wright's new movie Aisha has been released.
The film, which also stars The Crown's Josh O'Connor, focuses on a Nigerian woman called Aisha Osagie (played by Wright) who seeks asylum in Ireland.
She finds an ally in Conor Healy (O'Connor), who is a former prisoner she meets at one of the accommodation centres she waits at.
The first trailer gives a taste of the powerful drama, as Aisha struggles emotionally while caught up in a stream of bureaucracy and increasingly harrowing circumstances.
Aisha is a Sky Cinema exclusive, and is set to premiere on the channel on November 17.
Wright is perhaps best known for playing Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is due to return soon in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

"I had a chat about it with Ryan [Coogler, the director] and Chad when we were making Black Panther, and we touched on it briefly. When I realised I was playing Shuri, it was something that I really looked forward to."
The star added of her personal connection to the movie: "Shuri’s journey has allowed me to grieve, to cry, to laugh, and to gain strength that I never thought I could ever have.
"Trials and tribulations make you who you are. You either fold or you get up and go again. I feel like Shuri kept looking at me every day, asking me if I was gonna fold or go again. And I just kept going until healing started to happen for me."
Aisha will premiere on Sky Cinema on November 17. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has a release date of November 11, 2022. The first movie is streaming on Disney+.
