HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Two suspects are in custody after a home invasion, shooting and chase in Henry County.
Henry County police said officers responded to a home in the Locust Grove area around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said two suspects got away in the victim’s car and started a chase with the officers. The chase ended and the suspects tried to escape on foot.
When they arrived, they found one person injured in a shooting. The victim is related to the homeowner at the address.

A local school went on lockdown during the search. Police said they captured both suspects shortly after the chase started.
The names of the suspects have not been released. Both were taken to a hospital for minor injuries. The victim who was shot is expected to be OK.
