CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - One person remains hospitalized Wednesday morning after a vehicle struck a bicyclist last night in eastern Macomb County, officials confirmed.
Authorities said officers responded to the crash shortly before 11 p.m. in the area near Clinton River Road and Amherst Street in Clinton Township.
The road was closed to traffic as police conducted an investigation into the crash.
Authorities said the bicyclist was transported to the hospital and is being treated for injures -- the victim's exact condition remains unknown at this time.
Additional details about the crash are expected to be released at a later time.
