Here is the calendar for October at the Knoxville Public Library. The Friends of the Library will have a book sale on Oct. 21st and 22nd.

 The State Historical Society of Iowa will be bringing a mobile museum to Knoxville. It will be located at the parking lot across from the library and will be here from Oct. 21st through the 26th.

Knoxville Library Director Rosalin Thompson talks about the busy month at the library and a few events to look forward to, “As usual we have story times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On the second Monday of each month we have Book Club coming up and then DIY for teens and adults on the second Tuesday of the month.”

 On Oct. 26th, the library will have a speaker, Kathy Wilson, who is a historian talking about the Salem Witch Trials. On Oct. 27th, the library will have Linda McCann presenting resources for writers doing research. Both programs are at 1:30 p.m.
