A job fair featuring 20 companies actively seeking to hire new employees will be coming to the CenterPoint Commerce and Trade Park in Jenkins Township on Oct. 13.
This marks the fourth annual CenterPoint job fair, coordinated by Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services in partnership with the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce, PA CareerLink Luzerne County and the Luzerne/Schuylkill Workforce Development Board.
The fair will be held in a Mericle flex building located at 159 CenterPoint Boulevard from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13.
Some of the businesses planning to attend include Benco Dental, Cardbox Packaging, Greiner Packaging, Lowe’s RDC, Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services, Pepsi Beverages, Sky Zone, Home Depot and more.
“If you have been out of the workforce for some time or are a new graduate planning to enter the workforce or someone looking to transition into a new career, this is a great chance to check out the many rewarding opportunities for employees right here in Greater Pittston,” said Michelle Mikitish, the executive vice president of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce.
