Ouch! Last week, Bethenny Frankel shared the details of an unfortunate accident that left her with a scar on her forehead. Taking to her Instagram Stories, The Real Housewives of New York City alum explained how, while rushing around her closet, she stood up quickly and hit her head on a staging rack, causing a gash on her forehead that was gushing blood. 

Though the Skinnygirl CEO called the incident “frightening,” per OK! magazine, she’s now on the mend and sharing what remedies she is using to help heal the scar. 

“It’s been Neosporin, Aquaphor, and I have this healing salve that I got in Hawaii that has different things in it and tea tree [oil] and is a natural remedy,” she shared in a video on her Instagram Stories on October 3. “In the last five minutes I’ve heard [from fans to use] Mederma [scar cream], shea butter, Egyptian cream, Bio-Oil, Vaseline… any other things we wanna throw in?”

Bethenny went on to say that social media users had also suggested “vitamin E oil” and a “silicone patch,” and joked that she’d end up spending “$10,000 in products for this little scar.” 

“I’ll be at the plastic surgeon’s [office] for cheaper soon, but believe me, I’m gonna let you know what works and write a whole list and… mention it all,” she concluded. 

Bethenny loves to bring back one of her best-known quotes from RHONY — and so does Andy Cohen. 

Earlier in September, the pair met up in the Hamptons to enjoy a day by the ocean together to close out the summer. Taking to Instagram, Andy shared a sweet snap the Business Is Personal author took of the duo, who were all smiles in the sunshine. 

“We truly mentioned it all,” Andy wrote over the beachside snap of himself and Bethenny rocking bathing suits and sunglasses.
