A search warrant Monday at a home on Croom Road in the Maxton area of Robeson County led to the seizure of eight ounces of cocaine, 13.5 grams of cocaine base, seven grams of heroin, four grams of fentanyl and 30 grams of marijuana, according to a news release from the Maxton Police Dept.
The release said officers also confiscated $500 and four guns.
Carl Braddy, 42, is charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, possession of a stolen firearm, alter/remove a gun's serial number, possession of a firearm by a felon, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in opium/heroin, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Braddy remains at the Robeson County Detention Center on a bond of $752,500.
The release said, "The Maxton Police Department will continue to rid the Town of Maxton of dealers and suppliers of Controlled Substances which in turn will significantly reduce crimes such as Larcenies, B & Es and gun crime."
Rowland Police Dept. also assisted in the investigation.
