Emergency rooms are not the most pleasant of places.
Unfortunately, maybe there were times in your life when you found yourself rushing to the ER for whatever reason — and maybe that reason was embarrassing, completely random, or surprisingly unexpected.
I'll go first. My first experience in the ER was one I'll never forget. When I was in fifth grade, I fell and broke my wrist at a rollerblading birthday party. But I wasn't brought to the ER until hours later because the parents of the birthday kid didn't realize how injured I actually was until my parents came to pick me up.
On that note — I want to hear from the BuzzFeed Community: what was the most embarrassing or unexpected reason you went to the ER for?
Maybe you had a sharp pain in your stomach and you were so scared it was something serious that you had your parents take you to the ER to get checked out. It turns out it was just some gas and the doctors sent you on your way.
Perhaps you and your partner were trying to spice things up in the bedroom and an experimental position went wrong which caused you to limp into the ER to get relief.
Or maybe when you were on your period, you went to take out your tampon but couldn't find it. You freaked out and went to the ER for help — only to learn from doctors that there actually wasn't a tampon in there at all.
