EastEnders' Amy Mitchell to be left humiliated over Denzel romance

EastEnders spoilers follow.

Amy and Denzel may be sure that their love is real and they are meant to be together in EastEnders, but Jack has made it clear that he is not on board with the romance.

That has done nothing to deter the young lovers though and they continue to see one another in secret – but they are caught out fairly sharpish next week.

The two decide that they should spend the day together and bunk off school, but it is not long before they are spotted by Chelsea.

Putting Chelsea in a tough spot, the recently recast Amy begs her not to tell Jack and she eventually agrees. But while Denzel makes a quick exit and they think they're home free, Jack notices that something is not quite right.

And there are suspicions that Denzel has to deal with too when he returns home to a grilling from Patrick, and he admits that he does have feelings for someone.

But it turns out that Patrick is on hand to dish out good advice, and he suggests that Denzel buy the object of his affections a gift.

After much consideration, he chooses a new phone case for Amy and when he hands it to her, he tells her that he wants them to be exclusive and official.

But Nugget, Lily and Tommy soon arrive and interrupt their special moment, mocking the pair and making fun of the gift Denzel got for her.

But while navigating that is not fun for either of them, how long will it be before Jack finds out that they went behind his back, and how will he react when he does?

Elsewhere in Walford, the recent cast changes are set to keep on coming with Lola due to make a tragic exit in the coming weeks, and troublemaker Janine won't be far behind her as she bows out of the soap once again in the New Year.
