(WFXR) — On Tuesday Sheetz announced a donation matching challenge of $60,000 to support the Special Olympics.

The fundraiser is happening through the month of October and Sheetz says all 660+ of its locations are participating. You can donate through donation boxes that will be set up by the registers as well as adding a donation on to your purchase. Then Sheetz will match donations up to $60K.

Sheetz says the donations they collect will go towards supporting Special Olympics chapters in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Donations are going to help to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

“At Sheetz, we are deeply committed to supporting the communities that we serve,” said Travis Sheetz, President & CEO of Sheetz. “The Special Olympics has a great tradition of transforming the lives of thousands of individuals within our footprint. It’s an organization that has always been near and dear to our heart and we’re proud to continue supporting the Special Olympics and its members through this campaign.”

Sheetz says they are also planning to donate $50K to Autism Speaks.
