Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel revealed something that should be good news to Wisconsin fans. Wisconsin football reportedly has three players not listed as out for Week 6.

Hayden Rucci gave Badgers fans a scare when he went down with an injury against Illinois. Wisconsin has already lost TE Clay Cundiff for the remainder of the season. It looks like he’ll be active against Northwestern.

Rucci along with CB Alexander Smith and RB Isaac Guerendo were all not listed as out on the injury report, according to Potrykus.

Wisconsin will need all the help it can get in interim HC Jim Leonhard’s first game at the helm. Leonhard was appointed to the position shortly after Paul Chryst was fired.

Guerendo and Smith should help provide depth to their position groups. Guerendo has been coming on the field in relief of Braelon Allen along with Chez Mellusi.

Smith will be needed to help the Wisconsin defense got back on track with his 11 solo tackles and 1 interception this season.

Wisconsin and Northwestern kick off Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
