Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The flooding that occurred in Southeastern Virginia yesterday, though it was less than initially anticipated, may remain into this evening. Flood advisories in most eastern regions (such as the Northern Neck) have been dropped, but such warnings remain in southeastern areas like Virginia Beach are set to remain until 8 PM tonight.

Here in central Virginia, the same off-shore storm system which brought flooding to the coast has kept weather chilly and damp in Richmond. As the week progresses, however, things are set to warm up and dry out with temperatures predicted as high as 80 on Friday, before returning to chilly Fall weather this weekend.
