Unfortunately, Uta died in One Piece Film: Red. While it is not explicitly shown in the film, it is generally implied that Uta died while in the care of Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates.

From the beginning of the film, Uta's death has been long overdue, with a suicide mission she planned all by herself to usher in a new era of a world without pirates.

As much as she wanted everyone to be happy, Uta decided to transport all of her fans to a fantasy world where they could live in peace without worrying about piracy, work, illness, or death.

However, her plan backfires when her fans choose to leave the fantasy world she worked so hard to create.

One thing led to another, and Uta is torn about what to do because her perspective on life has already changed.

Uta died after singing her heart out to bring back all the spirit and consciousness of her victims to the real world, including the Straw Hat Pirates, Heart Pirates, Big Mom Pirates, Koby and Helmeppo, and the rest of her fans.

Most notably, Uta died as a result of the effects of eating the wake shrooms and refusing the medicine Shanks tried to give her.

In the beginning, Uta manages to transport the consciousness and spirit of her fans to a virtual space she created known as Uta's world by using the powers of the Sing-Sing devil fruit.

In Uta's world, she performs a concert on the island of Elegia in front of all of her fans.

Unbeknownst to them, Uta has trapped them all in a dream world where all bad things don't exist and peace and fun are her only priorities.

However, everything changes when Uta is targeted by Big Mom Pirates members Oven and Brulee.

Worse, Uta discovers that her childhood friend, Luffy, has joined the ranks of pirates like her father, Shanks.

As a result of an incident in her past, Uta has developed a resentment toward pirates.

Uta believes that Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates abandoned her in Elegia after stealing all of the island's treasures and killing all of its inhabitants.

To cut the long story short, Uta denies everyone’s freedom by using the power of the Sing-Sing devil fruit and summoning the Demon King, brought about by a legendary music piece, Tot Musica.

Towards the end of One Piece Film: Red, Uta’s body has been possessed by the Demon King, and it is up to the Straw Hat Pirates and the Red Hair Pirates, including some of the Big Mom Pirates, to simultaneously attack Tot Musica’s Demon King to put an end to her plans.

Unfortunately, Uta's body did not recover from the strain and burden of possessing Tot Musica's Demon King, as well as the effects of the wake shroom she consumed throughout the film.

There's a chance that Uta will appear again in the original One Piece story. Because the events depicted in the film are not canon, she is still alive in the manga.

The question now is, in what way will Eiichiro Oda reintroduce Uta into the story? After all, there's a slim chance she'll show up.

Unfortunately, there's also a huge chance she won't be mentioned again, similar to how Eiichiro Oda treated Shiki, the main antagonist of One Piece Film: Strong World.
