Kesha Tate was shot and killed in August in her Gaffney home. The shooter was her neighbor Nicholas Lucas, he originally told investigators that he was shooting for target practice in his yard. Forensics have since proven that to be false and he's been charged with her murder. Tate's family is attending county and city council meetings in Cherokee County, trying to enact changes in the law. Right now, there's no law prohibiting shooting guns outside in Cherokee County, even in residential areas. There is a law that prohibits that in the city limits of Gaffney. The family is looking to get Cherokee County to adopt the new law. What do you think? Should the law there be changed? Let us know below.
