Former President Donald Trump is suing CNN for defamation, alleging that the network engaged in a "campaign of libel and slander" against him. Trump is seeking $475 million in punitive penalties. No comment from CNN.
The New York Post reports the lawsuit lists several instances in which CNN appeared to compare Trump to Hitler, including a January 2022 report by host Fareed Zakaria that included footage of the German dictator.
