Two new portraits have been released of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, taken during their UK visit, mere days before the Queen's death. The images show the royal couple moments before going on stage at One Young World Summit, a collective which celebrates young talented leaders who are focused on social impact,

Meghan and Harry attended the opening ceremony, which was hosted this year in Manchester, with Meghan delivering the keynote speech. For the occasion, the duchess chose a powerful full red look from AnotherTomorrow, while her husband wore a classic back suit.

Two official images have been released of the event, one in colour and one in black and white, both of which show the couple clasping hands.

The never-before-seen photographs have been shared by the couple's go-to photographer, Misan Harriman, who previously photographed the couple's pregnancy announcement with baby Lilibet. Harriman is famous for his images of high-profile celebrities and has taken innumerable shots of the royal couple, as well as being in attendance at their wedding. The Nigerian-British photographer is also one of the most prolific chroniclers of the Black Lives Matter movement and is himself an impactful social activist, as well as the chair of the Southbank Centre.

These freshly released images are the first to be shown of the couple since their appearances at the Queen's funeral on Monday 19th September, capturing them at what was then the beginning of a UK and European trip. Following the funeral, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now understood to be back in California with their young family.
