indianola-8

The Indianola boys golf team will have the future of their season decided today in a competitive district meet, all the way out in Council Bluffs. The Indians have had a strong season so far, with multiple team and competitive titles, and currently have the 7th lowest 18-hole average in class 4A, which will be the 2nd lowest at the district meet only behind Waukee Northwest. Action starts today at Bent Tree Golf Club at 10am.

The #5 Indianola volleyball team makes the road trip to #9 Norwalk tonight in a match that could decide the top of the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Indians sit at 4-1 in conference action, while the Warriors remain undefeated in conference, and can decide a team title with a win tonight while an Indians win likely clinches a tie. Head coach Kent Halstead tells KNIA Sports the Indians depth has been a big strength this season, with all 14 varsity players contributing.

First serve is at 7:15pm.
