Eagles vs Cardinals Prediction and Pick
There are spots in which backing the Cardinals makes sense. Last week against Carolina was one of them. This is not.
The Eagles should overwhelm Arizona in all facets on Sunday. Perhaps no stat better illustrates that than this one: Philly is fifth in the NFL in yards per play and third in opponent yards per play, while the Cardinals are 29th and 27th, respectively. Arizona gets wins by capitalizing on the opposing team’s mistakes, but the Eagles don’t exactly make many.

Jalen Hurts is my pick to win MVP if the season ended today, and Arizona’s leaky defense won’t be able to stop him. The Cardinals are 25th in opponent pass yards per play, so you can expect a huge day from Hurts through the air as AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith run wild.
The Cardinals haven’t covered the spread in three straight games as home underdogs, falling short by just under 10 points per game. Expect more of the same as the Eagles overwhelm their NFC opponent.
