Inaugural ‘Flying High and Cruising Low’ event at Trent Lott International Airport

Looking ahead to tomorrow’s slate of activities, a new event that combines a love of cars with the Coast’s aviation industry.

‘Flying High and Cruising Low’ is a partnership between Trent Lott International Airport, Southern Sky Aviation, and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. It’s a way for cruisers and Jackson County residents to enjoy classic cars and aircraft as well as see what the airport has to offer the community.

There will be tons of aviation displays along with live music, food, and much more. Tim Thomas with Southern Sky Aviation said, “Some vintage aircraft. There will be some new training aircraft that the military uses, there will be aircraft that’s coming and going at the airport.”

Trent Lott Airport Director Cinnamon Snyder said, “More times than not, people don’t realize that there’s an airport in Moss Point, so it’s a good opportunity to bring the public out to the airport, let them see the cars, and the planes, and really let them see what the airport has to offer.”

‘Fly High and Cruising Low’ is free and open to the public. It’s Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Trent Lott Airport.
