Apologies if this Is upsetting for some people, but which song makes you cry the most? I have 3, Heaven (Candlelight Mix) by DJ Sammy and both versions of Run (by Snow Patrol and Leona Lewis of course)

The fact that it came out in 2020, during the middle of lockdown. It was such a nice escape, but also very raw. It really resonated with me for a few reasons throughout the entire year.
in the backyard, all died when you went away”
God bless you always!!!
Holly (a girl who will forever love the late beautiful precious masterpiece of a gentleman who sings the song)
My late Mother used to sing that song to me as a small child before I went to sleep. I sang it to her recently as she was on her death bed. The very last time I saw her.
Feed the birds from Mary poppins as well is a bit of a tear jerker. Sorry to hear about your mum.
I dislike the Eva Cassidy version of it, but that seems to be the tune most folk sing it to nowadays. Judy Garland all the way.
Hurt (Johnny Cash version)
They never used to. Sadly, they do now.
The lyrics are incredible, written by the bands leader telling of his suicidal thoughts after the band fired the original lead singer
This version is truly epic especially Part 5 Mother and Father, the sheer raw emotion is very evident. It starts off very quietthen takes you on an emotional roller coaster
The lighting a screen graphics are outstanding. The leader singer here is arguably the best female vocalist of the moment.
Enjoy and dont forget the hankies

Edit
Just rewatched and I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. As a 60+ year old bloke did not think that would be possible from a piece of music
I went to see a play based on The Wizard of Oz at the West Yorkshire Playhouse back in 2020 (it was before the first COVID lockdown) with my sister, and when the actress playing the main character (who's name forgets me now) sang this, I just had a flashback to when Ariana Grande did it at the Manchester concert in 2017, so I nearly burst into tears when this came on.
Sorry for your loss regarding what you said about your Dad.
Sounds interesting, will put it on my playlist.
I don't see why you think it's weird that music has that effect on you. Some music makes me happy, some sad, miserable...
Thanks. Her passing was a blessing after her suffering with dementia for many years.
"Feed The Birds" has the same effect on me too xx
And groovy kind of love by phill , always gets me crying my late mum would play these all the time , whist I was a teenager, hated them al the time but love them to bits now , even if they made me sad
Cash’s version of You Are My Sunshine is a good one for making me feel emotional.
