Suns SG Devin Booker Sends Message on Instagram

Booker had a message for everybody following Phoenix's preseason loss to the Adelaide 36ers.

In their first taste of action on the hardwood, the Phoenix Suns failed to deliver.

Australia's Adelaide 36ers traveled to Phoenix and upset the Suns in eye-opening fashion, shooting lights out in 134-124 fashion over a team that won 64 regular season games the following year.

Simply preseason? Sure. The starters registered just over 20 minutes of game time, and even that was longer than head coach Monty Williams liked.

“I played them a bit longer than I wanted to. They got competitive and wanted to come back. I was not going to let those guys come back, I wanted to play them in seven-minute spurts tonight. I did not mix the lineups at all tonight," said Williams following the game.

"I want those guys to get used to playing with each other. As we progress, we will probably get Cam (Johnson) and Chris (Paul) out and start to mix the lineups a bit I do think it is important for those guys to play together.”

Williams will use this game as a learning tool for his team, but that didn't stop the outside world from criticizing Phoenix.

Suns shooting guard Devin Booker had one simple message for everybody on his Instagram story:

For those unfamiliar, the screenshot references LeBron James after losing the NBA Finals, somewhat controversially commenting on people who took joy in seeing him fail:

Booker and crew hope to send a better message on Wednesday when they square up against the Los Angeles Lakers.
