Hello everyone and welcome to the first episode thread of the week and the first of a new month

Keeble warns Phil that she'll go after the rest of his family if Jimmie isn't taken off Billy's case.

Shirley blackmails Sam for more money, threatening that she'll tell Phil the truth. Sam tries to call Shirley's bluff, but it goes wrong when Shirley storms off to find Phil.

Jonah confronts Sam and grabs her arm, but Phil intervenes by punching him. Jonah responds with a worrying threat against the Mitchell family. Shirley chooses this moment to tell Phil that Sam has been scamming him for months.

Meanwhile, Alfie tells Kat that he's taking the boys to a museum, but they really head off to a theme park.

Elsewhere, Eve confides in Stacey about kissing Suki.

Also today, Lola sets up Ben and Callum to spend time together. Ben and Callum admit they still have feelings for each other, but they're interrupted by Ben's SOIT officer.

Frank is still chasing Pat and arrives on her doorstep in nothing but a bowtie. Peggy is cooking Frank a special meal. There's more bad news for Ian on the business front. Dot is shoplifting again. Mark hires Zoe on his stall.

    I always enjoy looking through the "on this day" bit which never fails to bring up stuff I'd completely forgotten about or don't remember at all. Carol & Masood, SJ, Phil & Patrick's feud (what was that about - I've blocked out a lot of 2011 EE!).

    Frank in the revolving bow tie is one image I'll never truly be able to forget though! :o

    Hopefully. The last time they did something big for Halloween was the week where Hayley took an entire week to give birth.
