Four Arrested Sunday On Drug And Firearms Charges

Four people were arrested just before noon Sunday on charges including felony drug and firearm possession.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol reports all four arrests happened at 11:38 A.M. Sunday in Buchanan County.

At that time 19-year-old Amazonia resident Gwendolyn A. Noland was arrested for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated via drugs and failing to drive on the right half of a roadway.

Also arrested at that time were 21-year-old St. Joseph resident Ezekiel L. Harker, 18-year-old St. Joseph resident Jazlyn T. Merritt, and 18-year-old Kansas City resident Levon R. Williams. All three of them are facing charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and felony unlawful possession of a firearm.

Harker was also found to be wanted on a misdemeanor warrant from the Buchanan County Sheriff for failing to appear on a charge of property damage.

All four individuals were booked into the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center.
