SO FAR, NO ARRESTS. WELL, TWO ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE AFTER A SHOOTING AT AN OLDHAM COUNTY APARTMENT COMPLEX. IT ALL HAPPENED AROUND SIX TONIGHT AT THE CRESTVIEW APARTMENTS OFF HIGHWAY 22 IN CRESTWOOD. THE VICTIM IS A 41 YEAR OLD MAN. HE WAS SHOT IN THE BACK AND TAKEN

Police have identified the two people arrested in connection with a Crestwood apartment complex shooting and released more details.David Strausburg, 29, and Ella Whorton, 28, were arrested by Oldham County Police.Around 6 p.m., police were dispatched on the report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 6800 block of Crestview Drive.When they got there, they found a 41-year-old man in the parking lot who had been shot in the back.After reviewing video of what happened, police say that Whorton was physically and verbally attacking the victim as he tried several times to walk away.She eventually began throwing things at him.That is when police say Strausburg, who was in a truck at the time, reached back and grabbed a shotgun.They say he then took the time to load it and fired it out the truck's back window, striking the victim in the back.Police say the victim did not suffer life-threatening injuries but did call the wounds "possible life-altering injuries."Strausburg is charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and wanton endangerment since bystanders were outside when he fired the shotgun.Whorton is charged with facilitating attempted murder, first and fourth-degree assault, terroristic threatening and menacing.They are being held at the Oldham County Detention Center.
