(Creston) A Ringgold County man hauling grain on Sunday suffered injuries in a rollover accident in Union County.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 4:55 p.m. on Sunday, on 190th Street. Authorities identified the injured driver as 65-year-old Ronald Lynn Gray of Mount Ayr.
According to the report, Gray driving a westbound 2009 Peterbilt semi and trailer, traversing a curve onto 190th Street, lost control, left the roadway, and rolled over, losing its cargo of grain. The semi came to rest on its passenger side. Gray became partially ejected with his left leg pinned outside the driver’s side window between the truck’s frame and the ground.
EMS extricated Gray from the cab by mechanical means and transported him to the Greater Regional Hospital in Creston.
