Local gas prices still slowly falling

The AAA puts the current average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo metro area at $3.72, which is down seven cents from last week's cost.

Erie County's Water Authority is proceeding with a plan to build a new operations center and headquarters building in West Seneca. Business First reports the Water Authority has purchased the last vacant parcel in the North America Center - a total of 58 acres - for $3.3 million. What has drawn the ire of West Seneca leaders is that as a separate municipal agency, the Water Authority is not required to file construction documents with the town.
