New Orleans police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in the Seventh Ward that left a man dead.
That crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Sunday on Paris Avenue at St. Bernard Avenue new the New Orleans Fairgrounds.
According to NOPD spokesperson Reese Harper, a pedestrian was crossing the road when a vehicle hit him. The victim died at the scene. The vehicle involved in the crash drove away.
According to investigators, the vehicle involved in the crash may be a dark-colored pickup truck with tinted windows. Police did not provide any other details about the vehicle.
