Over the weekend the ALS association held a fundraising walk in Seattle at Marymoor Park.

The ALS Association in the PNW serves over 800 patients with care services, while also funding research for finding both treatment and a cure for ALS.

This was the association’s first walk in three years, and the event had a turnout of roughly 800 people.

According to the development manager, the planning for next year’s event is already underway.

The event raised $179,226 of their $200,000 goal.
