Three Oklahoma City officers are on administrative leave after a man was shot.
Authorities said it started as a call for a man armed with a gun and threatening suicide.
Around 10 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a scene near Northwest 18th Street and Tulsa Avenue. Police said the incident happened outside the home.
"There were three officers involved in this armed confrontation that resulted in a shooting. All three have been placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. The suspect was wounded, transported to an area hospital," said MSgt. Gary Knight, OCPD.
KOCO 5 does not know how many times the man was shot. Oklahoma City police said the names involved in the incident will be released Monday.
