RIGHT? RIGHT. GOT OUT ALL RIGHT. WELL, THIS MORNING MORE THAN 400 RUNNERS LACED UP THEIR SHOES FOR THE 16TH ANNUAL FOOT RACE FOR THE FALLEN ROAD RACE. SO THIS RACE HONORS THE MEMORY AND SACRIFICE OF FALLEN POLICE OFFICERS. IT KICKED OFF AT THE MANCHESTER POLICE DEPARTMENT ON VALLEY STREET, FOLLOWED BY AN AFTER PARTY. MANY OF THE RUNNERS ARE ACTIVE MILITARY AND OFFICERS WHO SAY THAT THIS RACE IS THE LEAST THEY CAN DO TO SUPPORT TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILIES. AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. IT’S IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THE FAMILIES THAT LOST OFFICERS IN LINE DO THEIR PART OF THEIR FAMILIES AND THIS IS JUST SOMETHING SO SMALL THAT WE CAN DO TO REMEMBER THEM. More than 400 runners laced up their shoes for the 16th Annual Footrace for the Fallen Road Race Sunday morning.The race honors the memory and sacrifice of fallen police officers.It kicked off at the Manchester Police Department on Valley Street and was followed by an after-race party.Many of the runners are active military and officers who said that this race is the least they can do to show their support for the families.“As a law enforcement officer, it’s important to remember the families that lost officers in the line of duty, for families and this is something so small that we can do to remember them,” said runner Andrew Kuc, who is also a member of the U.S. Army. Proceeds from the race benefit the Manchester Police Athletic League, which provides after school and summer activities to area youth.
