Scotty Pippen Jr. is playing well, says Anthony Davis.

The Los Angeles Lakers have built a roster that people aren't sure what to make of. The team is driven by its three superstars, who will need to perform if they are to be successful, but the players around them are definitely interesting.

Patrick Beverley and Dennis Schroder are players that have established roles in the league, Pat as a defensive pest and locker room guy, and Schroder as a microwave scorer. The rest of the roster has some interesting young pieces, players like Thomas Bryant, Lonnie Walker IV, and Scotty Pippen Jr.

Scotty Pippen Jr. impressed for the Lakers during Summer League and has a two-way contract with the Lakers. There is a chance if he continues to impress that he will get the opportunity to play at the NBA level. And the noises around him so far have been good, with Anthony Davis recently praising his performances during practice.

Anthony Davis Praised Scotty Pippen Jr. For His Play During Practice With The Lakers

Anthony Davis has been in the league for a long time, and as a perennial All-Star and a champion, he knows a good player when he sees one. AD has had some really good teammates throughout his career, so when he praises a player highly, it's something people take notice of. And the player that has earned his praise this time is Scotty Pippen Jr.

"And they're actually playing really well. Scotty Pippen had a really f**king good day today."

Scotty Pippen Jr. also earned some praise from Lakers Head Coach Darvin Ham, who is the main man he needs to impress. If he is to have a role for the Lakers, then Ham will be the one to use him strategically, so he will be happy to hear that the coach described his excellent play as 'being good to watch.'

"Scotty Pippen Jr. has been amazing. So it's been fun to watch."

Getting this kind of feedback from the most important people in the franchise will only serve to make Pippen Jr. better moving forward. He already made a good impression on LeBron James, and it's easy to see that his game is highly respected within the organization. Pippen Jr. will have to work hard to make a name for himself, considering that his father is one of the best to ever do it. But if he keeps playing like he supposedly is right now, that's a very real possibility.
